Job summary

Xperteez Technology is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote contract role. You will work on production-style DevOps tasks, including CI/CD, container orchestration, and IaC with Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. The role requires real coding skills in Python or similar languages and strong Linux expertise.

You will design realistic tasks, provide reference solutions, and review AI-generated outputs with precise corrections. Availability of at least 20 hours per week is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure engineering.
• Strong coding ability in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript (this role needs real code, not scripts alone)
• Practical depth in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
• Advanced Linux and Git
• Professional English, written and spoken
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Design realistic DevOps tasks based on production-style scenarios (CI/CD, containers, orchestration, IaC, monitoring, incident response)
• Write working reference solutions with clear setup and validation steps
• Review AI-generated output, identify failures, and write precise corrections with reasoning
• Maintain a strict quality bar on correctness and reproducibility
• Share structured feedback that improves future task design
