Role : Remote Banker
Location : Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose: Delivering quality teller functions and excellent customer experience through accurate and efficient processing, while projecting ADIB's professional image in all interpersonal dealings.
Key Accountabilities of the role
- Processing teller service transactions such as cash deposits, cash withdrawals, cheque withdrawals, and account transfers in line with operational policies and procedures via ITM machine.
- Delivering exceptional customer experience.
- Handling additional tasks or assignments as required.
- Reporting machine/application errors and cash disputes.
- Checking ITM balances and available denominations.
- Ensuring effective productivity by maintaining an adequate number of transactions to avoid operational loss.
- Handling inbound calls according to organizational procedures, guidelines, and schedules.
- Escalating customer queries and disputes as necessary.
- Explaining ITM services and answering customer questions related to these services.
- Maintaining politeness and courtesy when dealing with customers at all times.
- Performing tasks as per the defined format.
- Meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets set by management.
- Proactively cross-selling various bank products to qualifying customers or callers.
- Adhering to all ADIB policies, code of ethics, and customer protection regulations.
Job Conditions:
- Required to work on shifts.
- Required to work extra hours during peak times or days.
- Engaged in ongoing self-development to enhance competence.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
- General knowledge of ADIB's institutional and retail banking products and services.
- Knowledge of ADIB's operational policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
- Good knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations issued by the UAE Central Bank and other regulatory bodies.
- General awareness of competitors in the local market.
- Strong cross-selling skills.
- Good personal audio/video communication skills.
- Team player mentality.
- Ability to take ownership and exercise good judgment in problem handling.
