Job summary

Halian is seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to work remotely from Ajman, UAE. You will manage cloud infra in Azure, deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes, and build CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong observability via Datadog and IaC practices, with collaboration across engineering to improve deployment efficiency. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering, hands-on Azure and Kubernetes experience, and proficiency with CI/CD tools and Terraform or Bicep.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deploy, monitor, and support containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security using Datadog.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
• Support infrastructure automation using IaC principles.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident management activities.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security best practices are followed.
• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives and internal developer tooling.
