Job summary

Remotedxb in United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Application Security professional to partner with product teams, perform threat modeling, and conduct in-depth security reviews. You will tune scanners, develop automation, triage bug bounty findings, and help engineers understand risks.

Qualifications

3+ years in application security or software development.
Strong web fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, cookies, sessions).
Knowledge of SOP, CORS, CSP.
Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and mitigations.
Secure by design principles and secure architecture knowledge.
Experience with manual security assessments and secure code reviews.
Ability to communicate business impact of threats to dev teams.
University degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
Proficiency in English and Russian (B2+).

Responsibilities

Partner with product teams to perform threat modeling and risk assessments.
Conduct in-depth manual code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
Tune rulesets for automated security scanners to reduce false positives.
Develop scripts to automate security workflows.
Assist developers in understanding security risks discovered during testing.
Triage vulnerabilities from bug bounty programs and coordinate with researchers.
Collaborate with Dev/QA to provide security guidance.
Maintain internal security knowledge base and secure coding guidelines.
