Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI Research Engineer (Agentic Reinforcement Learning) for a fully remote, globally distributed team in the United Arab Emirates. You will push research in multimodal AI systems with diffusion-based and autoregressive approaches, building scalable RL pipelines and robust evaluation frameworks.

You will design training infrastructures, optimize reward mechanisms, and translate empirical results into practical algorithms for production-ready agents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS or related field; PhD preferred.
• Strong AI research track record with publications at top conferences.
• Experience conducting large-scale reinforcement learning experiments in multimodal/vision-centric systems.
• Proven ability to improve domain-specific decision-making and policy performance.
• Deep understanding of RL algorithms and optimization for vision/multimodal learning.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and modern DL frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building end-to-end RL pipelines from simulation to deployment.
• Strong analytical thinking and scientific problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop reinforcement learning algorithms for multimodal models, including diffusion-based methods.
• Design scalable RL infrastructure for distributed training across multimodal systems.
• Develop reward modeling strategies to improve training stability and align outcomes.
• Create and maintain multimodal simulation environments and datasets for evaluation.
• Establish rigorous evaluation protocols and compare against baselines.
• Analyze policy performance across modalities to identify training bottlenecks and alignment issues.
• Explore emerging RL paradigms to improve agent learning from feedback.
• Publish and present research findings at leading conferences.
