Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Reliability Engineer to prevent failures across product lifecycles, lead investigations and drive reliability initiatives. You will monitor performance trends, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering teams and deployment regions to deliver reliable solutions.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English and Arabic, and a willingness to work within a global matrix organization in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations including root cause actions.
• Support lifecycle management through monitoring and corrective actions.
• Participate in RA, DWR, MOC, and DRA activities.
• Participate in engineering design review processes.
• Execute steps in the Field Incident Management Process (FIMP).
• Manage FRACAS activities via DMAIC methodology.
• Apply RCA methodologies and develop cause maps.
• Facilitate and lead incident investigations and CABs.
• Develop RCA reports, bulletins, and field communications.
• Identify FRACAS trends and prioritize failure modes.
• Analyse performance data and monitor operations.
• Identify and report performance trends.
• Develop and report KPIs.
• Share lessons learned across field operations and the reliability community.
• Collaborate globally for knowledge transfer and best practices.
• Support new product development with engineering teams.
• Handle special projects and product-line reliability initiatives as required.
