Job summary

Parkin Company PJSC seeks a seasoned Compliance Officer to lead the annual Monitoring Plan, track UAE regulatory changes, and maintain policies including AML/CFT and Code of Conduct. You will manage insider trading controls, related party reviews, and regulatory reporting.

You will support the Governance Committee with updates, conduct risk assessments, and oversee KYC/AML processes and training programs for employees and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory compliance within financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk-based monitoring.
• Ability to update policies based on regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan based on local regulations and risk assessments.
• Monitor laws and changes from CMA/DFM and other UAE authorities; evaluate impact and update frameworks.
• Formulate and maintain policies including Code of Conduct, AML/CFT, Whistleblowing, and Conflicts of Interest.
• Manage Insider List, blackout periods, and trading clearance for directors and executives.
• Review Related Party Transactions for approvals and transparency.
• Assist in preparing the Corporate Governance Report for CMA/DFM and shareholders.
• Provide independent updates to the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee and track mitigations.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews and risk assessments across departments.
• Oversee due diligence (KYC/AML), sanctions screening, and high-risk reviews.
• Investigate breaches or whistleblowing and recommend remediation actions to leadership.
• Serve as liaison for CMA, DFM and other regulators; provide regulatory sign-offs.
• Design and deliver annual compliance and ethics training for staff and board.
