Job summary

Royal Health Group is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for Urgent Care in Abu Dhabi. The role requires rapid assessment, decisive clinical action, and delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within DOH Abu Dhabi standards.

You will support physicians, triage patients quickly, and maintain safety and documentation across the unit. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing with 2–3 years’ Emergency/Urgent Care experience, BLS mandatory, and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in Emergency/Urgent Care.
• BLS certification mandatory; ACLS preferred.
• Strong triage, emergency response and critical care skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assessment, and reassessment based on clinical priority.
• Deliver patient care across all age groups in urgent care/emergency setting.
• Assist physicians in emergency procedures (intubation, chest tube, fractures, wound care).
• Perform IV insertion, blood draws, urinary catheterization; administer medications per safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure infection control and safety practices.

Job Summary:

Provide direct and indirect nursing care in an urgent care/emergency setting. The role requires rapid assessment, clinical decision-making, and the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient triage, assessment, and reassessment based on clinical priority

Deliver safe and effective nursing care across all patient age groups

Assist physicians in emergency procedures such as:

Intubation, chest tube insertion

Fracture reduction, wound care, laceration repair

Perform critical nursing procedures including:

IV insertion, blood extraction

Urinary catheterization

Administer medications following safety protocols and prevent medication errors

Monitor patient condition and respond rapidly to clinical changes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per hospital and DOH standards

Ensure infection control, patient safety, and quality care practices

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for diagnostic and therapeutic services

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and pain management

Maintain equipment readiness and ensure proper handling of narcotics and supplies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Minimum 2–3 years experience in Emergency / Urgent Care

BLS Certification (mandatory) | ACLS preferred

Strong triage, emergency response, and critical care skills

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
