Job summary

The Czech Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Unit to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

You will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor vitals, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective recovery and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active DOH, DHA, or MOH Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, inpatient, or acute care advantageous.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about health management and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital policies.
• Maintain a safe environment adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

The Registered Nurse RN in the Inpatient Unit at Czech Rehabilitation Hospital is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from illness injury or surgery The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs develop care plans and implement effective treatment strategies

Patient Care

• Provide direct nursing care to patients including administering medications monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily activities

Assessment

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients physical emotional and social needs to develop and implement individualized care plans

Collaboration

• Work closely with physicians therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Education

• Educate patients and their families about health management rehabilitation processes and discharge planning

Documentation

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Safety

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Advocacy

• Advocate for patients needs and preferences within the healthcare system

Professional Development

• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills

Qualifications
