Job summary

Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai provides an opportunity for a dedicated nurse to deliver and coordinate patient-centric, evidence-based care in line with regulatory standards and company policies.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient safety and comfort, while supporting a learning environment and coaching junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• At least two years of nursing experience in your home country.
• UAE experience would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in English; basic Arabic is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centred nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in line with standards and legislation.
• Create a positive patient experience by contributing to a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
• Mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build competence.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least two years in own country

Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
