Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient-centred and evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary team. You will ensure safety, uphold regulatory standards, and contribute to a supportive clinical environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Nursing with valid BLS/ACLS, at least two years' experience in your country, and three years in a hospital A&E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing and valid BLS/ACLS certificates.
• Minimum two years' experience in own country.
• Three years' recent experience in hospital A&E.
• UAE experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
2. Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
3. Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
4. Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

valid BLS and ACLS certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least two years in own country

Three years of recent experience in a hospital Accident and emergency unit

Desired: UAE experience would be beneficial

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
