A leading technology and cloud services company is seeking a professional for a health and safety role in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities include implementing safety standards, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with programs. Candidates should have a relevant degree, 3 years of experience, and auditing qualifications. The role offers full-time employment and an inclusive team culture and prioritizes work-life balance.
Support implementation of health and safety standards, policies and practices including safety management systems training, risk assessments and industrial hygiene assessments and applicable safety regulations.
Conduct health and safety audits of all Data Centers to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and life safety requirements.
Ensure compliance and implementation of global health and safety programs that exceed regulatory requirements.
Develop health and safety plans for onsite emergencies, business continuity and other unique events.
Maintain safety record keeping and data integrity.
Perform data trend reviews to present to cluster leadership to support business and safety initiatives.
Consult and partner with the AWS H&S Program team and legal teams for interpretations and guidance.
Identify risks and partner with Operations to mitigate them.
Daily interactions with our customers delivering health and safety guidance.

Experience in program requirements definition together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
Experience in compliance program management legal governance audit risk / loss prevention or equivalent.
3 years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience.
Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials.
Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent.
