Job summary

MSD Gulf seeks an Executive Director, Regional Medical Strategy Leader (ED RMSL) to drive regional medical strategy across APAC and EMEA. This senior medical role coordinates with Global TA leadership, regulatory, and access teams to align priorities and accelerate impact for patients.

The role emphasizes data gaps, LDG considerations, scientific leadership, and HTA engagement while ensuring strong regional-global alignment and collaboration with HH, Policy, and patient advocacy groups.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD with TA expertise; advanced degrees or Specialist Register are a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in global pharma in Clinical Development and/or Medical Affairs with a successful track record.
• Strong communication and ability to lead by influence; excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Aligns and prioritizes regional strategy; customizes regional plans.
• Leads bidirectional Global TA strategy via matrix leadership of country TA Leads.
• Serves on Regional Medical Affairs Leadership Teams and collaborates with EDMAs, EDSAs, GDMAs, and RDMA.
• Interacts with Global TA Team and PDTs on regional priorities and CMA/CMAP inputs.
• Contributes to RVIT and GMAT meetings; coordinates with V&I Plans and CMAPs.
