A global aviation company seeks a Regional Director for Government Relations in Dubai. This role involves advocacy on telecommunications policy in the MENA region, requiring strong government relations experience and fluency in both English and Arabic. The ideal candidate will develop relationships with regulatory officials, support licensing efforts, and navigate complex regulatory challenges. This position does not offer relocation assistance, and candidates must already reside in the area.

The position develops coordinates and implements advocacy on behalf of the Boeing Company's telecommunications and radio frequency spectrum policy regulatory and licensing business interests in Europe Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The role requires high level knowledge of telecommunications navigation and surveillance systems and technologies with the ability to become an expert in international telecommunications radio regulations government affairs and regulatory processes in different countries.
The position requires the ability to establish relationships with key telecommunications regulatory and policy officials at the national regional and international levels as well as work closely and develop coalitions with industry leaders and associations. A passion for aviation satellite and defense interests is highly desirable.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (Bachelors degree) and typically 5 years of experience related work experience as a minimum.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
