Job summary

A global leader in shipping and logistics is looking for a Cost Controller in Abu Dhabi. The role involves monitoring OPEX performance and collaborating with regional departments to optimize costs and generate revenues. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and experience in the shipping industry. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and good English is necessary; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in shipping industry, audit or financial control.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Self-driven and independent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the regional OPEX performances through forecasts and actuals.
• Find initiatives optimizing extra cost and generating revenues.
• Assess and follow the financial impacts.
• Participate in the development of new operational setups.
• Build digitalization in collaboration with management.
• Work with the Finance department to improve efficiency.
