Job summary

Intermedia Selection is partnering with a well-established international group seeking a Regional Controller for its Dubai hub. The role covers financial control and reporting across the Middle East and Africa, with close collaboration with the Regional CFO and local finance teams across multiple countries.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, support process improvements, and travel within the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a regional finance or controlling role; 10+ years overall in financial management.
• Experience in the Middle East is essential.
• Strong technical skills in financial control, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Exposure to an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Clear communication and ability to build relationships across countries and cultures.
• Willingness to travel within the region as required.

Job description

Regional Controller | Dubai

Our client is a well-established international group with more than 14,000 employees across 60 countries. Headquartered in Europe, the Group is a global leader in its field and continues to invest in innovation and international growth.

Based at the Group’s regional headquarters in Dubai, the Regional Controller will support financial control and reporting across the Middle East and Africa. The region has around 900 employees and includes both commercial businesses and production operations. You’ll work closely with the Regional CFO and local finance teams across several countries, with opportunities to visit businesses and sites throughout the region.

Regional Finance & Control

You will help ensure reliable, consistent financial reporting across the region, support budgeting and forecasting, and monitor internal controls and compliance. You’ll work with local teams to address reporting or process issues and align local practices with Group requirements.

The right candidate

• Has 5 plus years’ experience in a similar regional finance or controlling role and around 10+ years' of overall financial management experience.
• Has professional experience in the Middle East region. This is essential.
• Brings strong technical skills in financial control, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Has had some exposure to an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Communicates clearly and can build effective working relationships with finance teams and senior stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
• Is comfortable travelling within the region as required.
