Job summary

TÜV SÜD Middle East LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to lead regional contract governance, risk management, and pre-approval workflows. This role serves as the bridge between Business Units, Legal Counsel, and Executive Leadership, managing complex contracts including client agreements, NDAs, MOUs, and intercompany agreements.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Law and at least eight years in commercial contract management, with Middle East experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Commercial Law, Contract Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• LLB or equivalent legal qualification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in commercial contract management, contract review, legal/commercial advisory, or tender contracts.
• Practical experience in the Middle East is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess commercial contracts, tender agreements, NDAs, and framework agreements to identify commercial and contractual risks.
• Provide initial legal and contractual guidance to business stakeholders and escalate matters requiring formal legal opinion to Legal Counsel.
• Establish and maintain contract governance processes, including contract registers, approval workflows, and deviation tracking.
• Manage business-critical insurance policies (Professional Indemnity and Public Liability), including renewals and claims coordination.
• Prepare periodic reports for the COO and management on significant contractual risks and material deviations.
