The Opportunity

In this senior finance leadership role you shape divisional strategies that align with both business goals and local regulatory standards. You drive financial execution by building efficient support platforms and guiding teams toward operational excellence. With a strong focus on governance you ensure compliance across finance, legal, tax and IT while serving as the key liaison for local authorities. You lead financial reporting and internal controls with precision and continuously optimize structures and processes to enhance efficiency. Passionate about people development you foster finance talent through targeted training, competency assessments and community engagement. You report to our Head of Middle East and Africa. The location for this role is flexible and will be determined in subsequent stages.

How you will make an impact
  • Shape Strategy: You define divisional policies and strategies that align with local regulations and business needs.
  • Drive Financial Execution: You establish cost‑efficient support platforms, oversee local finance functions and support leadership in achieving financial goals.
  • Ensure Compliance & Governance: You implement processes to meet Group standards across finance, legal, tax and IT ensuring strong financial governance.
  • Lead Local Representation: You act as the key finance contact for local authorities and ensure full compliance with fiduciary and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Reporting & Controls: You oversee financial reporting, audits and internal controls ensuring accuracy and accountability in line with Group and local standards.
  • Optimize & Improve: You lead efficiency initiatives, optimize legal and financial structures and promote best practices across your area.
  • Develop People & Capabilities: You assess team competencies, lead training and development and foster engagement within the finance community.
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (MBA or CA/CPA preferred).
  • 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of MEA markets, regulatory environments and economic dynamics.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial modelling and business partnering.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed, fast‑paced and culturally diverse environment.
