Abroad Work in Dubai is seeking a Reference Librarian to deliver reference and research assistance to library users in person, by phone, or email. The role includes supporting collection development and promoting library resources and services.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Library Science, at least two years of experience in reference or research, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a librarian, preferably in a reference or research role.
• Knowledge of current trends in library science, technology, and information literacy instruction.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
