Job summary

Aloft Dubai is seeking a Recreation Attendant to create engaging activity agendas, promote guest participation, and manage inventory to ensure smooth operations. You will inform guests about available facilities, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards to provide a welcoming environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid certifications; you will support training, assist in emergencies, and handle guest transactions with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Create recreational activity agendas and advertisements using publishing software.
• Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform manager of low supply items.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests and explain available facilities and activities.
• Promote safety rules and respond to emergencies per local operating procedures.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
• Process orders or transactions from customers and collect payment as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and facilities.
