About Wynn Al Marjan Island: On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax.

Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Recreation Coordinator – Staff Housing to join the resort’s staff housing team.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all recreational events and activities within the housing facility. This includes sports events, fitness programs, wellness activities, and entertainment events in game rooms, the movie theatre, and the karaoke room.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all recreational facilities, including gymnasiums, sports arenas, game rooms, and entertainment areas.
  • Develop and implement programs to engage tenants in recreational activities, promoting a sense of community and well‑being.
  • Work closely with various departments and external vendors to coordinate events and activities, ensuring a seamless experience for tenants. Partner with nutritionists to enhance tenant well‑being.
  • Manage budgets for recreational activities and events, ensuring cost‑effective use of resources.
  • Ensure all recreational activities and facilities comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Gather feedback from tenants on recreational activities and use it to continuously improve the programs offered.
  • Ensure events are geared towards creating a healthy lifestyle for tenants.
  • Promote a sense of elegance and luxury in all recreational activities and events.
  • Foster resilience, a sense of pride, and engagement among tenants, aligning with Wynn's goal of being the best.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or recreation industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and confidence.
  • Excellent organizational and event planning skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and external vendors.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional guest services and promoting the Wynn brand's values.
  • Must possess excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Must have strong customer service skills, with the ability to deal with problems involving guests and operational issues while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to work proficiently within a team environment and be disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
  • Must be available to work all shifts including day, swing, and overnight, and be able to flex schedule based on business demands.
  • Must be able to work effectively in stressful, high‑pressure situations.
  • Must be extremely well‑groomed and possess a professional attitude. Be well refined in both demeanour and actions.
  • Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes and concepts.
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding our guests and staff.
