Job summary

Careers at UAE seeks a Recreation Agent for our hotel team. You will meet guests, register arrivals and maintain recreation facilities across pool and fitness areas.

Ideal candidates have hotel or health club experience, a high school diploma, strong English, and excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest requests professionally.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or health club industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Guest relations experience in 5-star hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet & greet guests arriving to use the Recreation facilities of the hotel.
• Register hotel guests, residents and visitors into the registration log sheet.
• Complete daily recreation check lists and report all maintenance and housekeeping requirements.
• Report all complaints, feedback, incidents and accidents to the Spa & Recreation Producer.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
• Check supply and equipment levels, report shortages to Supervisor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as per assigned area.
• Pool Area – Set up Pool furniture, cabanas, towels and umbrellas.
• Fitness – Ensure all equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
• Remove trash and debris from all work areas.
• Check restrooms, areas throughout the shift for supply levels, cleanliness and working order, rectify any deficiencies and clean sections as assigned with proper chemicals, tools and equipment.
• Monitor all guest activity in assigned work area, be alert to any sign of trouble.
• Collect fresh and return all dirty towels to Laundry.
• Other duties as assigned by the Spa & Recreation Department.
• Must be able to interact with Cast Members/Guests professionally, helping them with changes and last minute requests as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous guest relations experience in 5 star hospitality industry
• High level of verbal and written English
