SearchPlus HR Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of a leading government healthcare facility in the UAE for a Specialist / Consultant Reconstructive Surgeon. The role focuses on restoring function and appearance after trauma, burns, cancer surgery, and congenital conditions, with emphasis on high‑quality patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) required.
• Postgraduate specialist qualification in Plastic Surgery or related surgical specialty.
• Internationally recognized boards (UK CCT/CCST, American/Canadian/Australian/South African Boards) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring reconstructive surgical treatment.
• Perform reconstructive procedures involving soft tissue, skin grafts, local and free flaps, and other techniques.
• Manage reconstructive cases after trauma, burns, cancer excision, and congenital abnormalities.
• Develop individualized surgical plans to restore function and improve appearance.
• Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative care, and long‑term follow-up.
• Manage surgical complications and coordinate appropriate treatment.
• Collaborate with plastic surgeons, oncologists, orthopedic, vascular, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits, teaching, and CME.
