Fareast Human Resources Consultancy is seeking a skilled Steel Fixer for construction sites in Dubai. You will read drawings, cut and bend steel bars, and secure reinforcements before concrete pours.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety protocols. NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing is a plus, with opportunities for overtime and career growth on major projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Steel Fixer or related construction role.
• Ability to read structural drawings and BBS.
• Knowledge of rebar tying techniques and tools.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Awareness of safety and health regulations.
• NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and technical plans.
• Cut, shape and bend steel bars using hand tools, power tools and machinery.
• Tie rebar using wire and pliers.
• Place and secure steel bars in formwork before concrete is poured.
• Assemble prefabricated rebar cages for columns, beams and slabs.
• Ensure correct spacing and alignment of reinforcements.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors and other site workers.
