Job summary

RINA Consulting (formerly D'Appolonia) is hiring a Railway System Interface Manager in Abu Dhabi for the Electronics and System Engineering Division. You will oversee interface management, system integration, and V&V activities across railway subsystems including rolling stock, signaling, and infrastructure.

The role requires 15+ years in railway system engineering with strong interface management, and proficiency with DOORS, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB, Simulink, and CATIA.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in railway system engineering with strong interface management.
• Experience focusing on sustainability in railway design, construction, operation.
• Knowledge of rolling stock, signaling, infrastructure, power, and communications.
• Familiar with EN, NFPA, ETCS/CBTC/PTC standards and auditing activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage railway system interfaces across subsystems and external stakeholders.
• Define and verify interfaces, ensure final closure of interface commitments.
• Coordinate system integration and interoperability testing activities.
• Support lifecycle management and modernization projects.
• Apply IoT, AI, and Big Data concepts for predictive maintenance and digitalization.
