Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a Radiographer with five years’ experience to perform routine and contract imaging studies across CT, MRI, and angiography, and to operate X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy equipment.

The ideal candidate holds DHA eligibility or UAE license, is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with excellent communication and manual dexterity to ensure safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Radiographer.
• DHA eligibility letter or UAE healthcare license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and contract studies in CT, MRI and angiography.
• Operate multi-modality equipment (X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy).
• Perform routine calibrations, test equipment, and report faults.
• Prevent unnecessary exposure by using radiation protection devices.
• Perform mammography and bone densitometry procedures.
• Prepare contrast medium for fluoroscopy and assist in procedure.
• Follow physicians’ orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning radiation safety.

Job description

• Perform routine and contract studies in CT, MRI and angiography.

• Operate multi-modality equipment (X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy)

• Perform routine calibrations, test equipment, and report technical faults.

• To prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation, these workers surround the exposed area with radiation protection devices, such as lead shields, or limit the size of the x-ray beam.

• Perform mammography and bone densitometry procedures.

• Perform more complex imaging procedures. For fluoroscopies, prepare a solution of contrast medium for the patient to drink, and assists in procedure.

• Follow physicians’ orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation to protect themselves, their patients, and their coworkers from unnecessary exposure.
