Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced radiographer to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in line with standards.

The successful candidate will hold a radiology degree (or higher diploma), have at least two years of relevant experience, and be proficient in English; you will support patients, ensure safety, and maintain records.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology/Medical Imaging or a 3-year Radiology diploma from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant radiology experience.
• Knowledge of current radiology practices and theatre procedures; fluent English

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine radiographic procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients.
• Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with in line with patient care standards.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance functions are performed.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform radiographic procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in line with company standards and regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform routine radiographic procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements

Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients

Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements

Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with in line with patient care standards

Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance functions are performed

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Bachelor's Degree in Radiology orMedical/DiagnosticImagingor a Higher Diploma in Radiology (minimum 3 year duration) from an accredited institution

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' relevant experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Current clinical knowledge of radiology practices, industry trends and technologies
• Operating Theatre radiological procedures
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
