Job description

A well-established radio broadcasting company in Dubai is seeking a skilled Radio Technician with experience in maintaining and repairing radio equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of radio technology and be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. The role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Indian nationals with fluency in English are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all radio equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with radio equipment
• Perform repairs and replacements on faulty equipment as needed
• Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs and replacements
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in radio technology and recommend upgrades as necessary
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure smooth functioning of radio operations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of radio technology including transmitters, receivers, antennas, etc.
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
• Good communication skills in English both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Own visa or valid work permit in Dubai is preferred
• Accommodation will be provided by the company
