Core Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth assessments of cancer patients to formulate individualized radiation therapy protocols.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including other oncologists, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
- Administer radiation treatments, closely monitoring patients for any side effects or reactions.
- Provide thorough explanations of treatment plans to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and responses in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing research and clinical trials to remain at the forefront of advancements in radiation oncology.
- Continuously update knowledge on new technologies and best practices in radiation therapy.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology required
- Active and valid medical license to practice
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Radiation Oncology
- Expertise in radiation treatment planning and delivery
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuous education and professional advancement
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
