Job summary

TASC Outsourcing in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced R2R Accountant to manage the month-end close, prepare and review GL reconciliations, and ensure substantiation of accounts. The role requires IFRS/IAS knowledge and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates will identify discrepancies, analyze trends, and drive timely corrective actions to maintain accurate financial statements and support audits. Immediate joiner is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in R2R accounting and monthly closings.
• Ability to prepare and review GL reconciliations.
• Familiarity with IFRS/IAS and local policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly GL reconciliations and ensure account substantiation.
• Identify discrepancies, analyse trends, and drive timely corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and yearly book closures in compliance with IFRS/IAS and AFG policies.
• Review provisions, accruals, amortization, reclassifications, and inventory adjustments.
• Support financial reporting, AFG consolidation, and external audits.
• Monitor intercompany accounts, identify mismatches, and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and standard closing checklists.
• Collaborate with business unit finance teams and FSSC departments to maintain balance sheet accuracy and integrity.
