Job summary

Stantec is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor for a Water Infrastructure Project in Dubai. The role demands a BSc in Quantity Surveying and professional MRICS status, with at least 10 years in all aspects of QS, including cost planning, bills of quantities in CESMM, and post-contract administration.

The successful candidate will manage estimating, tender documentation, variation valuations, and defect liability processes across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor with relevant tertiary degree.
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualifications are required.
• At least 10 years in all facets of quantity surveying for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning and quantity take-off for water infrastructure projects.
• Preparation of bills of quantities in CESMM format.
• Estimating, tender and contract document production, and report writing.
• Claim evaluation/negotiation and post-contract administration.
• Valuation of variations and approval of new rates.
• Handling Taking Over Certificates and Defects Liability Certificates.
