Job summary

Quantity Surveyor-Data Center

Successful applicants will have

Experience

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience. Preferably the most recent 3-5 years of experience on live Data Center projects.
• If contractor-side, experience in preparing estimates, bid submissions or in cost-control.
• If consultant or owner-side, experience in budget preparation or cost control or procurement. Post-contract experience is good-to-have.
• Strong understanding of
  • Lifecycle of a Data Center project
  • All building services, both mechanical, electrical and related components in a Data Center project.
  • Cost indexes / prices of the high-value long lead equipment’s with (OEM/local vendors) and alternate specifications, if any.
  • Consultant agreements, construction contracts, services contracts, design, construction and operational risks

Academics

• Bachelors Degree Preferred either in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services or Construction or Engineering related.
• Master Degree is a good to have.
• CDCP is good to have.

Personality Traits

• Demonstrate interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical Mindset
• Proficient in MS Office tools, AUTOCAD, Sketchup amongst other tools for BOQ generation.
