Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in providing expert cost management and consultancy services for various construction projects across the region.

  • Monitor and report on project costs including cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete estimates
  • Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for clients
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and presentations for clients and project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects engineers and project managers
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
  • Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g. RICS AACE International) an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consultancy.
  • Previous experiencein the Middle East region is essential.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g. CostX) and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients contractors and team members
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards practices and current market rates
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English
