Job summary

Baker Hughes in Dubai seeks a Quality Inspector - Product QC I to ensure part quality from drawings and specifications. You will maintain inspection records, drive non-conformance reports and support root-cause analysis with manufacturing engineering.

Your background includes a high school diploma, 3 years in quality inspection in manufacturing, and proficiency with SAP QN or Oracle NCM, MS Office, and reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in Quality inspection in manufacturing industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of SAP QN or Oracle NCM.
• Ability to read and apply established procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to identify and use monitoring and measuring equipment.
• Ability to perform dimensional inspection.

Responsibilities

• Performing parts inspection in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications.
• Completing and maintaining inspection records, inspection logs and calibration records for the testing, measurement, monitoring and detection equipment (TMMDE).
• Verifying completeness of all operations and records.
• Initiating non-conformance reports on all products, parts, assemblies and subassemblies that are not to requirements.
• Driving quality culture to their plant.
• Collaborating with site quality and manufacturing engineering on RCA, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Working with Baker Hughes management system databases and systems (SAP, Alfresco, QMT, BHOS, DocQuest etc.)
• Participating in quality audits, material review boards, kaizens or root cause analysis.
• Programming or calibrating TMMDE equipment.
• Following the competency management program requirements and works under GENERAL supervision.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have High School Diploma or certificate in technical discipline preferred
• Have 3 years’ experience in Quality inspection in manufacturing industry.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
• knowledge of SAP QN or ORACLE NCM.
• Have ability to read and apply established procedures.
• Have ability to use Hardness Machine
• Have ability to perform dimensional inspection.
• Have ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Have ability to identify and use monitoring and measuring equipment needed to verify requirements.
