Required Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture /Civil Engineering.
- 4+ years of Experience in Building Construction Industry.
- Knowledge of on-site testing procedures and requirements.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing quality documentation.
- Computer Skills include competency in MS Word and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
Review & Planning:
- Examine drawings, specifications and method statements to define and understand construction criteria.
Inspection & Testing:
- Conduct required inspection and testing activities according to relevant inspection and test plans, and coordinate with consultant.
- Prepare and submit WIR/MIR to Consultant and perform joint inspection.
- Coordinate with Section Engineer for daily Inspection schedule.
- Prepare and follow up closeout of snags during handover.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily Quality Control Report and follow up on actions required with relevant Section Engineer.
- Maintain Quality Records for inspection and test activities.
- Report Product Non-conformance according to ACC Standard Operating Procedure – SOP – QM – 03.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions:
- Follow-up to ensure corrective actions are taken and closed.
- Resolve quality issues through identification and implementation of corrective actions to close non-conformities and avoid recurrence.
Coordination & Support:
- Coordinate with the consultant representative on site daily quality matters.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on site to ensure that work is properly carried out.
- Assist the Quality Engineer in identifying and arranging training on site.
