Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Quality In-Charge based in Fujairah to lead QA/QC activities in an oil and gas environment. The role oversees quality control management, laboratory operations, and product development to ensure compliance with internal policies and international standards.

Key duties include handling customer complaints, coordinating lab tasks, conducting product development, and ensuring finished goods meet quality objectives before delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering or MechanicalEngineering or equivalent.
• 3-7 years in QA/QC for building/infrastructure projects; 10-15+ years for senior roles with UAE/GCC experience.
• Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 and international construction standards.
• Experience with ITPs, method statements, material submittals and snag lists.
• Proficient in MS Office and standard quality documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control Management per company policy; handle customer complaints.
• Allocate tasks for lab personnel and workers in the laboratory operation.
• Product Research and Development.
• Annual Budget report on raw material consumption.
• Mix design for all plants.
• Material usage (Monthly & yearly).
• Evaluation report for products and trials; monthly statistic report.
• Production implementations and correction of mix in all plants.
• Quality Control of incoming raw materials; monitor production quality.
• Coordinate with sales to carry out production requests and design timely for engineers.
• Input in Oracle system (Batch closing and Warehouse transfer).
• All internal & external correspondence related to QC dept.
• Check test reports in line with QC plan and international standards.
• Evaluate daily compressive test reports for blocks/interlocks.
• Review daily production mix & batch quantity; review monthly water absorption.
• Daily material reports sieve analysis, bulk density, silt/moisture content.
• Ensure finished products meet quality objectives before delivery.
• Management Representative for IMS for FCP, FMTF and FNQ.
• Product quality assistance for FMTF and FNQ.
• Research and improvement of FMTF product.

We are reaching out about an excellent permanent opportunity with our client in the oil and gas sector for a Quality In-Charge position based in Fujairah. This is a key role within our client's team, overseeing quality control management, laboratory operations, and product development to ensure all products meet stringent internal policies and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control Management as per the Company policy. Handle customer complaints.
• Functional allocation of tasks for each employee and workers working under the laboratory operation.
• Product Research and Development.
• Annual Budget report on raw material consumption.
• Mix design for all plants.
• Material usage (Monthly & yearly wise).
• Evaluation Report for Products and trials. Monthly Report (Statistic Report).
• Production implementations and correction of mix in all plants.
• Quality Control of incoming raw materials (from crusher or suppliers).
• Product monitoring while production is on process.
• Co-ordinate with sales to carry out the production request as well as mix design timely for production engineer.
• Input in oracle system (Batch closing and Warehouse transfer).
• All internal & external correspondence related to the quality control dept.
• Check all test reports in accordance with the QC plan and applicable international standards.
• Evaluate Daily Compressive test reports for all blocks and interlocks products.
• Review Daily production mix & batch quantity details reports.
• Review Monthly water absorption reports for interlock products.
• Daily material reports sieve analysis, bulk density, silt content and moister content evaluation.
• Ensure that finished products meet the quality objectives before delivery to customer.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-7 years in QA/QC roles for building, high-rise, residential, or infrastructure projects. Senior roles require 10-15+ years. UAE or GCC project experience with familiarity in local Fujairah/UAE municipality codes and standards.
• Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and international construction standards.
• Expertise in Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material submittals, and snag/punch lists.
• Ability to conduct routine site walkthroughs, monitor concrete/material testing, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Proficiency in MS Office and standard quality documentation/management software.
