Detailed Requirements (Technical Skillset)

Qualifications:

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

3+ Years

Knowledge & Technical Skills:

• Strong hands‑on experience in designing and building automation test frameworks from scratch.
• Strong understanding and experience of QA practices following Test Pyramid & shift left strategies.
• Proficient in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured for effective UI and API test automation. Nice to have – Playwright.
• Hands‑on experience with software development platforms, particularly Jenkins, GitLab.
• Demonstrates an AI-first mindset, actively using AI to improve efficiency and quality.
• Capable of performing thorough code reviews, ensuring high standards of quality and maintainability as defined by EK.
• Comfortable adopting and operating AI‑enabled tools within the EK ecosystem.
• Practical experience with AI tools such as Copilot, GitLab Duo, Claude code. including effective use of prompt engineering across different models.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with multiple teams, ensuring proactive collaboration and engagement.
• Experience in test strategy, test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, and test reporting.
