Job summary

Jobsatdubai is looking for a Quality Controller in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves ensuring that all vehicle repairs are performed according to job advice and conducting quality checks through testing.

Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years' experience as a Mechanic or 5 years as a Technician with an I.T.I/3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile. A valid UAE/GCC driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Mechanic or 5 years as a Technician.
• 2 years minimum experience as a Tester.
• Valid UAE/GCC Driving license (if transferable).

• Assist workshop manager in preparing F1 analysis report.

Job description

Quality Controller

Description

• Check and ensure that all the repairs are carried out as per the job advice.
• Reporting additional repairs noticed during road test.
• Read customer verbatim reported in the repair order, ascertain/identify diagnostic/repair requirement based on vehicle dynamic or static testing.
• Assist Team/Technician in diagnosing complicated cases by providing complaint occurrence condition information.
• Conduct post service/repair vehicle testing dynamic/static confirm services/repairs carried are meeting Quality standards.
• Assist workshop manager in preparing F1 analysis report.
• Assist Front Line/SA for pretesting if necessary to capture complicated complaints occurrence condition by joint test with customer.
• Test drive the vehicle within the speed limits allowed.
• Ensure vehicle is driven on road only for the test purpose adhering traffic rules.
• Confirming the necessary documents/registration card in the vehicle before proceeding for road test.
• The Quality testing must be performed as per the Quality Check Sheet and all the findings must be recorded on the same.

Qualifications

• Minimum I.T.I/3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile or equivalent with 7 years’ experience as a Mechanic or Diploma with 5 years as a Technician.
• 2 years minimum experience as a Tester.
• Valid UAE/GCC Driving license (if transferable).
• Computer skills.
