Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Quality Control Technician, your main responsibility will be to ensure that products meet the required specifications. This involves testing and analyzing materials to confirm they comply with quality standards.

This is a part-time role based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, and you will report directly to the Quality Control Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure final paint products meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate test data and report any deviations.
• Calibrate and keep instruments in good working condition.
• Follow Jotun’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) guidelines and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards during all Quality control activities.
• Record all test results accurately enter in the Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) system and generate Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for the products.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Emirati national as part of the Emiratization program initiative by UAE Government (Nafis)
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, or a related field

• 0–2 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory role, preferably in the paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbal and written
• Time management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of using Microsoft Office 365
