Job summary

Fatherson International Fze in Dubai is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure construction and engineering works meet project specs, quality standards, drawings, and client requirements. You will conduct inspections, monitor site activities, review documents, and coordinate with project teams to maintain quality throughout execution.

The role requires a degree in civil/mechanical/electrical engineering, experience in construction/MEP projects, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and inspection

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection methods, and project specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• UAE project experience is preferred.
• Strong documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction and engineering works for compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement and monitor QC procedures and the project Quality Management System.
• Conduct site and material inspections to verify compliance with standards.
• Prepare and review ITPs, checklists, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Review material submittals, technical docs, inspection requests, and test reports.
• Ensure compliance of construction and MEP activities with specs and standards.
• Maintain inspection records and quality reports; support audits.
