Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy seeks a QC Manager – Electromechanical to oversee QA/QC for EM and RSP works on Oil & Gas EPC projects. Initially site-based, the role may evolve to corporate HQ overseeing EM/RSP quality from FEED and tendering through construction, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10–15 years of QA/QC experience with at least 5 years in a senior/lead role.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical EPC projects, preferably midstream/downstream.
  • Strong knowledge of EM/RSP, HVAC, electrical HV/LV, fire protection, and ELV systems.
  • Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and ASME standards.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
  • ADNOC experience/specification knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage QA/QC activities for electromechanical and RSP works throughout the EPC lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement PQPs, ITPs, quality procedures, and inspection plans.
  • Review material submittals, MIRs, technical documents, and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveillance, mock-ups, and quality audits.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and balancing of electrical, HVAC, fire protection, and RSP systems.
  • Manage NCRs, root–cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Lead and mentor QC engineers and inspectors and monitor quality KPIs.
  • Coordinate vendor inspections, FATs, and incoming material inspections.
  • Ensure proper quality documentation and project handover dossiers.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Job description

The role ensures compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, QMS, and international standards. Initially site-based, the position may develop into a corporate HQ role overseeing EM/RSP quality from FEED and tendering through construction, commissioning, and handover.
