Role Overview

Orbit ISS is seeking an experienced QC Inspector (Insulation) to join our team, focusing on commissioning activities for Oil & Gas and Energy projects. The candidate will ensure all insulation works are properly inspected and verified during commissioning, meeting project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect insulation materials, application methods, cladding, and weatherproofing during commissioning.
• Verify compliance of insulation works with drawings, ITPs, and technical specifications.
• Monitor insulation for piping, equipment, tanks, and HVAC ducting during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Identify and report non-conformances, ensuring follow-up on corrective actions before handover.
<>Coordinate with Construction, Commissioning, QC, Engineering, and Client/Third-Party Inspectors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection and commissioning documentation.
• Support final handover of insulated systems to operations, ensuring all standards are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QC Inspector in insulation works, preferably in commissioning of Oil & Gas or Energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of insulation materials, application techniques, and commissioning practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, ITPs, and project specifications.
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
