Job summary

A leading engineering management firm in Sharjah is seeking an experienced QC Inspector (Insulation) to ensure that all insulation works meet project specifications and standards. You will inspect materials, verify compliance, and maintain documentation across Oil & Gas and Energy projects. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of QC experience in insulation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years QC experience in insulation (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical preferred).
• Ability to read drawings, isometrics, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect insulation materials, application methods, cladding, and weatherproofing.
• Verify compliance with drawings, ITPs, and technical specifications.
• Monitor insulation for piping, equipment, tanks, and HVAC ducting.

Role Overview

Orbit ISS is looking for an experienced QC Inspector (Insulation) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will ensure all insulation works meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements across Oil & Gas and Energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect insulation materials, application methods, cladding, and weatherproofing
• Verify compliance with drawings, ITPs, and technical specifications
• Monitor insulation for piping, equipment, tanks, and HVAC ducting
• Identify and report non‑conformances, and follow up on corrective actions
• Coordinate with Construction, QC, Engineering, and Client/Third‑Party Inspectors
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years QC experience in insulation (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical preferred)
• Strong understanding of insulation materials (Mineral Wool, PIR, Foam Glass, etc.)
• Ability to read drawings, isometrics, and technical documents
• Good communication and reporting skills
