Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced QC Inspector to monitor and control quality of joinery and woodwork during production, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and project requirements.

The role covers inspections from raw material receipt to final delivery, with emphasis on defect identification, NCR handling, and continuous quality improvement within a factory environment in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

• Experience in QC/QC Inspection within joinery, woodworking, furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of measurements, dimensions, tolerances, and finishing standards.
• Experience in preparing QC checklists, inspection reports, and NCRs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and incoming materials for quality and compliance.
• Conduct quality inspections at different stages of factory production.
• Check dimensions, materials, workmanship, finishing, and assembly against approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect joinery items including doors, cabinets, wall panels, furniture, and other custom‑made woodwork.
• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are completed before products proceed to the next stage.
• Prepare and maintain QC inspection reports, checklists, and NCRs.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, Estimation, and Project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct final inspection before packing and delivery to site.
• Ensure proper implementation of approved samples and material specifications.
• Monitor finishing quality including veneer, laminate, paint, polishing, and edge finishing.
• Maintain proper records of inspections and rejected/reworked items.
• Support continuous improvement of factory quality procedures and reduce material wastage and rework.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and project requirements.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in QC/QC Inspection within joinery, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit‑out.
• Good knowledge of woodwork and joinery manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of measurements, dimensions, tolerances, and finishing standards.
• Experience in preparing QC checklists, inspection reports, and NCRs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and under production deadlines.
• UAE experience in joinery/factory operations is preferred.
