Position Summary

The QC Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes procedures and systems to ensure the consistent production of highquality products. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements particularly in the sheet metal fabrication industry including stainless steel products.

Requirements

Bachelors of Engineering Mechanical or similar; additional certification of Quality Management is plus.

Should have proven experience as QC Engineer preferably in sheet metal fabrication industry mainly stainless steel industry.

Knowledge of EX Proof of QAN / QAR Process

Key Responsibilities
  • To design and implement quality control processes including inspection testing and documentation procedures.
  • To establish and maintain a quality control system to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality control measures into their processes.
  • To analyze quality control data identify trends and provide insights to improve processes and address quality issues.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of quality issues defects and nonconformities in sheet metal products.
  • To execute product testing activities including conducting physical mechanical and functional tests on sheet metal components and assemblies. Prepare detailed test reports documentation and technical summaries summarizing the results of product testing activities.
  • Document test procedures observations findings and recommendations for future improvement or corrective actions. Communicate test results effectively to crossfunctional teams management and stakeholders.
  • To approve or reject material / Finished Products based on quality standards.
  • To collaborate with thirdparty testing laboratories and certification bodies accredited for IECEX and ATEX certification to coordinate compliance testing activities for sheet metal products.
  • To ensure that sheet metal products intended for use in explosive atmospheres are appropriately marked and labeled with Ex markings in accordance with IECEX and ATEX directives.
  • To maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures test results and certification records for sheet metal products undergoing IECEX and ATEX compliance testing.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in quality inspections, data analysis, and documentation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field required.
  • Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Instrumentation Professional) preferred.
