Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a QAQC Pipelines Lead for a major onshore project in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance and must possess an engineering degree or a diploma in Quality. Responsibilities include managing QA/QC activities and maintaining quality management systems. This position requires residential work in eastern Iraq as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control.
• Experience in managing QA/QC activities in major projects.
• Familiar with all pipeline related items.

Responsibilities

• Manage all QA/QC activities in the Pipeline Installation EPC contract.
• Act as QA/QC focal point for the Pipelines Installation EPC package.
• Maintain quality management systems and promote continuous improvement.

Job description

We are looking for a QAQC Pipelines Lead for one of our clients with the following details :

Location:

UAE with mission in IRAQ whenever required

Start Date:

Dec 2025

Contract Duration:

24 months, extendable

Work Scheme:

Residential

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Qualification: Engineering degree, Diploma in Quality, Experience in Welding / NDT, all phases of EPC
• Professional Experience: At least 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Control within a Major Onshore Project environment
• Experience in Iraq is and added value.

Hands on experience in Major Onshore Pipelines Project as follow:

• Conversant in all the EPC phase activities
• Conversant in all Pipeline related items like line pipe, Bends, Valves, Pipeline Installation etc;
• Conversant in managing the Welding procedure Qualification campaign conducted by EPC Contractor
• Conversant in managing AUT and Other NDE methods qualification process
• Conversant in managing the Welder Qualification campaign carried by EPC Contractor

Job Dimensions

• The service holder shall take ownership and manage all QA / QC activities in the Pipeline Installation EPC Contract and Line Pipe Procurements.
• Shall act as QA / QC focal point for the Pipelines Installation EPC Package
• Maintaining Quality Management systems promoting best practice and continuous improvement in line with the PROJECT Quality Department
