Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented QAQC Engineer specializing in steel fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met throughout fabrication processes. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years' experience in QAQC within the steel fabrication industry. This is a full-time role with no remote work allowed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QAQC within the steel fabrication industry.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control and quality assurance methodologies.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and techniques.
• Experience with non-destructive testing methods and interpretation of results.
• Relevant quality management certifications (e.g. ASQ CWI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality control procedures for steel fabrication projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of fabrication processes.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform non-destructive testing and analyze results.
• Train and mentor junior team members on quality assurance processes.
