Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a QAQC Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of experience, with a specialization in water and sewerage projects, preferably with a Mechanical Engineering background. Key responsibilities include overseeing quality control processes and coordinating with construction teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer, including 3–4 years in water and sewerage.
• SOE membership / Engineering License will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control processes and ensure project deliverables meet specified standards.
• Review and approve inspection reports, material submittals, and test results.
• Coordinate with construction teams and third-party inspectors for quality assurance.

Skills

Quality standards and codes (ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, etc.)

Construction materials, methods, and testing procedures

Inspection and testing plans (ITPs)

Non-conformance reporting and corrective actions

Strong documentation and reporting skills
