Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Manager to support the Owner’s Engineer team in overseeing quality assurance and control for a desalination project.

You will monitor design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, ensuring deliverables comply with EPC contracts, standards, HSE and project company expectations. You will review quality plans, procedures, test reports and handover docs, coordinate with site teams, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement throughout

Qualifications

• BTech/BE in Civil Engineering is required.
• 15 years GCC experience in building, infra and mixed-use development projects is a must.
• ISO 9001:2015 certified lead auditor.
• Trained and additional qualifications in Quality Management and Project Management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Owner’s Engineer team in overseeing QA/QC for design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and project close-out.
• Review and comment on project quality plans, inspection/test plans, method statements and submittals.
• Coordinate with site supervision to monitor construction quality and close punch items.
• Identify quality concerns/non-conformities and track corrective actions to close-out.
• Review EPC contractor progress reports, quality records, inspection/test reports and handover documentation.
• Maintain clear QA/QC records and reporting inputs for monthly project reporting.
