Job description

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Manager to join our consulting engineering firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects with industry standards and client requirements. This role involves close collaboration with project teams contractors and clients to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement QA/QC plans for construction projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor quality and adherence to project requirements.
  • Review and approve material submittals shop drawings and other project documentation for compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams contractors and clients to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC reports including non-conformance reports inspection reports and test results.
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant codes standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss quality-related issues and provide updates on QA/QC activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality standards codes and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams contractors and clients.
  • Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
  • Certification in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) or relevant QA/QC credentials.
